Chrysler sales up 44%, Ford up 7%, GM slips 6% in January
Chrysler got the new year off to a good start, reporting a 44% increase in U.S. auto sales in January with 101,149 vehicles sold for its best January since 2008 while Ford had a more modest 7% gain and General Motors reported sales down 6%.
