- The wait is over

I have been waiting for this to be released on CD for many years and never thought it would ever happen. This version also includes material from the Let Yourself Go/Deepville EP which is a real plus.

- Rare & Classic, unbeatable combo. Cherish this relic.

Much of Quadrastate evolved into Utd. State 90 (as it was released in the US). I suspect most arrived at this product as fans of 808. For the uninitiated, start with Utd State 90 (samples on Amazon). Quadrastate was the predecessor, more raw, if that's possible.

If I had a personal Back to Mine comp, Fire Cracker would be on it.

This has been remastered and is now available for the first time on CD !

Great relic from the late 80s. Hear the connection between Detroit-NYC-Manchester in all its remastered glory.

Also, check out 808 State's website for many great downloadable tunes that never made it out. Lots of great stuff there.

- Yuppers!

Yup....you can definitely tell where the roots of Utd. State 90 lie. Don't discount it on the basis of that, though. It's great to hear these songs in their more raw "state" and it's fun to hear the finished versions on Utd. State 90. There is plenty of other music that didn't evolve to the next level nor make it to other releases so fans will not be disappointed. Quadrastate, along with the 808State Fan Club CD is a gold mine of great music. After being unavailable for so long, Quadrastate fills out the collection. I think it was worth the wait. I realize that this is not really a "review" - more like a "rant." I can't help it. I love this band and I love all of their releases, especially this "lost" treasure.
