Disco de AC-DC: “Live”

Wasn't there like two(2)different versions of this live album put out?Yes,'Live' was a long-awaited release and the only reason I give it a four star rating instead of five is the fact that there is a gap of silence between each and every song.Why don't record companies just make a/any live recording sound as if it came from JUST one show?I love it when a live CD has that going for it.Total of fourteen tunes that were recorded from the band's 'Razer's Edge' world tour 1990-91.Tracks that I enjoyed reliving again and again were their memorable opener "Thunderstruck","Back In Black","Shoot To Thrill","Whole Lotta Rosie"(one of my personal all time favorites),"You Shook Me All Night Long","TNT" and their traditional encore number "For Those About To Rock".One reason that I may not be going ga-ga over this CD is that I've recently located an import(bootleg,maybe?)of a 2-CD titled 'Berlin,2003' and that thing totally rips!!

I CANT STOP STRESSING HOW GOOD THIS LIVE ALBUM IS,AS IT IS ACTUALLY A GREATEST HITS COLLECTION WHICH IS BEING PLAYED LIVE.THIS IS THE BEST LIVE ALBUM FROM THIS GREAT HARD ROCK BAND WITH BRIAN JOHNSON WITH ANGUS YOUNG PLAYING AT HIS BEST.THIS ONE SHOULD NOT BE MISSED AT ALL.VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This single disc of live material is extracted from a double disc set recorded during the Razor's Edge tour. In my humble opinion this is a much better buy than the larger set(especially for those new to AC/DC) because it eliminates the more obscure and pretentious tracks. Considering that this is the closest thing to a greatest hits record you're likely to find, it's definitely worth the time and money if you want to see what these guys are really all about. If on the other hand you're already a fan, If You Want Blood is probably the better choice for a truly blistering live performance.

This is the single disc version of AC/DC live release in 1992 recorded on the popular "Razor's Edge" tour. This song take the best song of the original 2 disc version of this live set. This disc provides a good snipit of the full picture, but hardcore fan would be rocommended to spend the couple bucks extra to get the two disc version. Regular fans, this has the live songs you could be content with, the biggest ones. So enjoy this piece of AC/DC history. Don't forget about the Bonfire box set for a good collection of Bon Scott era live recording.

Back in 1990, AC/DC put out an album called "The Razor's Edge." This album had such fist pumping tunes as "Thunderstruck" and "Money Talks," and like most bands, AC/DC hit the road after its release in order to support it. Little did they know that this tour would give birth to a tremendous live album.

The album takes a look at the greatness of experiencing AC/DC live. The roar of the audience and the nonstop genius guitar work of Angus Young keep heads banging for over an hour. From the sounds of a thunderstorm in the beginning of the album to the roar of the cannon blasts at the end, this album boils the adrenaline to steam.

Although the expanded live album includes more tracks that the standard CD, this album of 12 unbelievable rock tunes includes all the classics. The audio quality of recording is amazing and you will hard pressed to find another live album that has the testicular fortitude of AC/DC Live.
