Alkaline Trio name new album

Alkaline Trio have confirmed that their upcoming seventh studio album will be titled This Addiction. According to frontman Matt Skiba, the album's title relates to taking "heroin addiction as a metaphor for love." Alkaline Trio man confirms solo album

Alkaline Trio frontman Matt Skiba has confirmed the title and release date for his upcoming solo album. The singer will release the imaginatively titled Demos on February 15 through Asian Man Records. According to a press release from Skiba’s label, the album was reportedly recorded “in his bedroom or while travelling” and the 15 tracks were originally intended to be demos. “Anybody who loves the Alkaline Trio without the glossed over production will be incredibly happy with this final product,”

AFI confirm new album release date

AFI will release their long awaited new studio album, Crash Love, in the UK on September 28 through Interscope / Polydor Earlier this year the band decided to scrap the sessions they'd recorded with Tool producer David Bottrill for the follow-up to 2006's Decemberunderground to work with producer Joe McGrath (Morrissey, Alkaline Trio, Blink 182). Rise Against work in soup kitchen

While most bands sleep their days away on tour, Rise Against put their spare time to good use when they helped out at a soup kitchen. “Last time we were in Detroit with the Alkaline Trio, we hooked up with a soup kitchen and helped prepare and serve meals to members of the local community,” explains singer Tim McIlrath. “We put together a video of the experience spliced with footage of the Audience Of One video.” Watch it here.

AFI to release Crash Love in September
