Acoustic cover of Heaven from Angels & Airwaves new album "I-Empire". Shaun Roster (UK)(Lead Guitar @ Tabs) Cody Dalton(USA)(Lead Vocals & Various) SHAUN: Cody mentioned he wanted to cover this track, so i spent a few days working out some acoustics for it and then recorded the Lead on Acoustic and the backing on my Les Pauls, layered through Adobe Audition 2.0. I went out and took some video footage of my local town (Weymouth, UK) and then sent the whole package to Cody. He then mixed in Lead Vocals and some keyboard in the Intro section. CODY: This is one of my favorite covers we have ever done. I suggested it to Shaun because I wanted us to tackle something complicated that most people wouldn't do acoustically. Also, I wanted a vocal challenge that could show off my range. The chorus to this is very low compared to the end where there is an extremely high G... We also tried to add our own unique element to the sound of the song and I think we pulled it off.
