- A Bunch of Loops
Well, we have 3 mixes of "Streamlined" by Sunshine, and two new jammies from ATDI. This is my first introduction to Sunshine, and the song on this disc is really nothing more than one drum beat with various guitar effects over it (and vocals). Nothing too exciting -- nor are the two remixes. As far as At the Drive-In is concerned, "Extracirricular" seems to be your standard ol' run of mill ATDI song...not earthshattering by any means (hey, I didn't really like "Catacombs" either, although that is different). But "Autorelocator" deviates into an electronic world that ATDI have never to this point explored so deeply. Its a very interesting song, once again built around one drum loop, but it seems to have a lot more lasting value to it than "Streamlined." Overall, its a fair listen, but these three songs (and 2 remixes) are definately not worth ten bucks.

- New to these bands and love it!
I heard "Streamlined" in the movie Blair Witch II, and I had to have it. It wasn't on the soundtrack, of course, so I had to really search for it. I really love this CD, because its one of the best albums of this genre. You don't have to be die hard fans of either bands to like this cd, but you WILL be a die hard fan after hearing it.
Reading the other reviews reminds me of how elitist a lot of music fans feel a need to be, but their reviews still do the music justice. I'm thankful I watched that silly movie and found this music! LOL

- At the Drive-In is not about to Split!
At the Drive-In is excellent emo if ever I've had the pleasure to hear it. They have wowed me ever since a friend first let me borrow "Vaya", though "In/Casino/Out" happens to be my favorite release from these kids, and I have fallen in love with their style ever since. Original music and lyrics make this band not only one to remember, but it makes you want to get up and dance or at least tap along with the beat. This new split, which I picked up at Krazy Fest 3 in Louisville, is no exception. Fans of their previous releases will not be disappointed with this new disc at all--it is pretty catchy stuff. I highly recommend you check it out and see for yourself just what At the Drive-In has to offer.

- Bored
Not much of a fan at all.The ATDI songs are pretty boring and uneventfull. So are all there albums or what ever I've heard from them.I bet you there is 1000 other bands who sound just like them.It sounds like they can't make up their minds. One minute they sound like Rage Against the Machine and the next song sounds like Fugazi.I would sue them if I was Fugazi. But the common audience doesn't know any better. The name of the band is pretty foolish also. And the names of the songs make me blush.I saw a picture of them in a magazine and they look like they're from El Paso which doesn't say too much. What I'm trying to say is that this "music" is not the future of music, its the recycled past.It just goes to show no matter how bad your music is,if you pound your music into peoples faces enough by touring alot, they'll eventually buy your damn CD.I catch myself humming along to N'Sync sometimes because thats all I hear on the radio or TV.I'd give them less than a star but 1 star is the lowest so........ By the way,I'm only one of many people who feel the same way about this band. Its time for something new.Really new.
