- Aventura's growing up!

I didn't own any Aventura albums before this one but I have a lot of their songs on bachata mix albums and I've heard a lot of their songs. I have to say that this is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. Every track is distinct and just beautiful. The album as a whole is immeasurable. It's one of those where you don't have to skip through to find the best songs. Every song is a hit and there are no fillers. My favorite songs are "Boda", "Chi chi", "Our Song", "Beso" and "Ella y Yo."

Aventura's newest album is very tasteful and they infuse different beats over their standard bachata beats. On "Chi chi" you get a sample of Punjabi, on "Beso" you get a little flamenco sample, on "Ella y Yo" you get some reggaeton and on "You're Lying" with Nina Sky you get a little hip hop beat. The guest singers on their album aren't too overwhelming and don't overpower the actual group like some guest singers do. On this you have Tego Calderon, Don Omar, Nina Sky, and Anthony Santos. You really can't go wrong with this cd. It's a good one from start to finish.

- A Must Have!

"They did it again" Todas las canciones de este album estan buenisimas.

- Aventura.....the best album to date.....

It took me a minute to buy this album, and now I wonder why I hesitated at all. This is great, and, in my opinion, far better than "We Broke the Rules" (and I thought that was my favorite album of theirs). For starters, the arrangements are so tight on this album. The guys sound great. Romeo, the lead singer, is at his romantic best. What makes Aventura stand apart from other bachateros is that they aren't just straight bachata. They also throw in other musical elements, like rock, r&b, reggaeton, hip hop and flamenco. There is ample evidence of this in tracks like "Angelito" (Angel), with the gorgeous coro work by their female back up vocalist (definitely channeling romantic r&b), "Un Beso" (the guys build up to a wonderful flamenco-inspired finish and the guitar here is amazing!!), and "Ella Y Yo" (a reggaeton song featuring Don Omar). This album is so enjoyable. I happen to speak Spanish, and listening to music is the best way for me to keep it up, but you do not have to speak the language to enjoy this beautiful music. These guys have talent that beyond their years (they are all in their mid-twenties now). This is their fourth and strongest album, to date. Beautiful, romantic and totally contemporary. I am sure this album has already had plenty of airplay on the Latin radio stations on the East Coast (I am a West Coast, Seattle-based gal, so I wouldn't know this for a fact).

- MUST HAVE

This album is uncomparable!! I love it, I bought it back in May 05 and its still in my top 5 most played CD's. You just can't get bored of this album!!! La Nina, La Boda, the Bonus Tego track that is not listed. you need to wait about 50sec after you lyin with Nina Skyy to hear it. This is the sound of Nu Bachata and an album to definately remember 2005 by!!! If you liked Obsession (which even after the over exposure, it became a classic instead of a joke) you will LOVE GOD's PROJECT!
