The Blackout sign deal with EpitaphThe Blackout have announced a worldwide deal with Epitaph. They join Brighton's The Ghost Of A Thousand, who announced their deal last week, on the label founded by Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz. “The band are over the moon,” says vocalist Sean Smith. “It’s an honour and we were offered billions of pounds by other labels but we knew Epitaph was the label for us. We love their ethics and we are also fans of many of the records they have put out. Epitaph is our new home and it feels warm and cosy.” The band will release their second album The Best In Town on May 25. See this week’s issue of Kerrang! for an exclusive lowdown on the Jason Perry-produced album, on sale Wednesday, February 25.
