Midlake Releases Digital EP, Tours

The '70s-twinged, indie-folk quintet Midlake will release a four-song digital EP of rarities including an acoustic version of the band's hit "Roscoe" on September 4 via the Bella Union label.

Buoyant 'Bella' bow

VPage: Toronto favorite premieres in D.C. -- Looking around the Mexican Cultural Center in D.C., where several hundred people sipped margaritas or danced to a mariachi band on Saturday night, a buoyant Eduardo Verastegui said: "With the food, music and even the paintings, they bring Mexico to this room.
