Stars Take the Stage for 'Idol Gives Back'ET has your "Idol" scoop! The "American Idol" stage was veritably overflowing with star power Wednesday night as the A-List came out to support "Idol Gives Back." BRAD PITT, REESE WITHERSPOON, ROBIN WILLIAMS, DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM, and ELLEN DeGENERES were just a few of the big names who appeared on the program. Several celebs traveled the country and the world before taking the "Idol Gives Back" stage to report on what they saw. Pitt appeared in a segment filmed in New Orleans about providing homes for families displaced by Hurricane Katrina, while Witherspoon also traveled to the Big Easy to meet with families affected by poverty. BONO and ANNIE LENNOX (who also performed) appeared in segments based on their visits to families affected by HIV and poverty in Africa, while RANDY JACKSON and PAULA ABDUL visited a poverty-stricken California town and SIMON COWELL spent time with needy New York medical patients. FOREST WHITAKER and his wife KEISHA went to Angola, Africa, to report on the effects of malaria, while ALICIA KEYS also took in the beauty of Africa and visited AIDS orphans -- her full report was available for free on "Idol Gives Back"'s Web site.
