- Somewhat pointless reissue

This is nothing more than a remastered, re-release of Vol. 4. The only redeaming factors to this release are its price and the inclusion of Children Of The Grave from Live At Last.

- Heavy Metal on a Budget

For some strange reason, the first five albums of most 70s groups are their best. (I hold this view as a point of personal privilege.) They may have issued some classic cuts after that limit, but greatest hits packages from these war horse bands and artists seem to collect their cream from the earlier works.

With the purchase of this budget product, I was able to fill my five Black Sabbath album quota. Why do I like these guys? I find them fun, not the cartoon-like KISS, nor are they the Hallow'een costume parties of the "Heavy Metal" that followed these guys. Black Sabbath might not have had the chops of Led Zeppelin or the technical expertise of Geoff Beck's early blueprints for morphing from blues-based rock into Hard Rock which begat Heavy Metal, but B.S. had a vision of who they were, what they were doing, and a certain amount of dedication to craft to steer away from pretense and parody...at least, through their first five albums.

After this point, the very heaviness B.S. put forth began to collapse under its own weight. So get this shiny object and let its gleaming contents distract you with a return to yesteryear with a mighty heigh-ho silver platter and away.

- Vol 4

This is just an import and different version of Vol 4 but with the added live song. Sound quality is great.

- Import of Vol. 4

This is an alternate version of the fourth Black Sabbath album, Vol 4.

The only difference being is there is an additional track at the the end of this album, which is a live version of Children of the Grave.

The track list is the same as Vol 4, however.

So if you liked Vol 4 and you like the song Children of the Grave, then buy this CD

- Sweet, but unnecisary...

I got this CD mainly for the price. It is really just Black Sabbath vol.4 with the rea;;y terrible live version of Children of the Grave. It is sped up about 1.5 times as fast! I am on a very fixed budget, so this CD was perfect. I think it's sort of dumg that they made this.

This CD has some great songs on it. For Example: Snowblind! I love this song! There's also Supernaut! I love almost every song on this CD Enjoy!
