Blackfield is one of the best alternative rock bands with their unique sound.

- Little known - Should be well known!

I'll start by saying I am a big fan of Steve Wilson's Porcupine Tree progressive rock group and Blackfield's band. Steve Wilson is gifted, as those who know his producing, mixing, and musical talents - and prolific. I believe he is probably capable of most rock music styles, I like his work with Blackfield the best.

Modern radio's control of over much of our music scene keeps groups like Blackfield pretty much out of the picture. It's unforunated as these two frontmen offer an amazing talent for laying down beautiful, haunting, melodic songs. Wilson and his Israel friend Aviv Geffen heartfully play mesmerizing music. I want to say more but until you listen to the Blackfield recordings you will just be wondering and guessing.

If you start with just the video you will get a good idea of the passion and presentation of these two excellent craftsman. One of the best music videos I have ever seen as far as photography and sound are concerned and in that, some of the best songs I have heard in years.

See if I'm telling the truth.
