- Do yourself a favor...

If you know of Blue October and don't yet own it.

Buy this DVD.

If you have never HEARD of them.

Then by ALL MEANS.

Buy this DVD.

I first heard these guys on the radio...And, proceded to purchase their CD "History for sale." I then saw them in concert.

All that needs said is:

"Blue October LIVE is a force unto itself!"

This DVD captures the energy that is Justin Furstinfeld and, the rest of the crew. You'll experience the raw emotion and,the grab you by the frontal lobe and shake intensity that have already taken hold of loyal fans across the nation.

The music...The Lyrics...The ENERGY...

Like I said...

"Do yourself a favor."

You deserve it.

- Moving.

Having been a blue October fan for four years, I have heard most of their songs in both recorded and live formats. I have to say that their music is far superior live. The lead singer, Justin Furstenfeld, is remarkably expressive and emotional when he performs. In the DVD extras, the viewer is taken inside Justin's mind, getting commentary on the subject of most of the songs on the band's most recent studio recording, "History for Sale." Not only does the viewer get to see Justin pour emotion from every inch of his body while on stage, but also gets to hear Justin's explanation of his songs. Another DVD extra is the "confessional," where crowd members get to talk about their lives. Justin reappears in the segment, too, giving some depth to a few of his songs and showing the most personal side of himself on the entire DVD.

Blue October, as a band, is quite eclectic and can please any music fan. From haunting basslines to violin plucks, the band gives an amazing performance not to be forgotten. I highly recommend it.

- Incredible

After hearing 'Hate Me', I bought the current cd. I then bought the Argue with a Tree dvd/cd combo. The cds are always in my car's changer. I've introduced a few friends to their music as well - all of whom are very impressed (we're in our early 30's and 40's). The lyrics and their intensity are incredible. I was dealing with some overwhelming, unremitting sadness when I heard HRSA. It finally convinced me to seek help. I can't say enough about their music and hope they come back to the NY Metro area very soon.

- Buy this DVD!

Blue October is one of those bands that you scratch your head and wonder, why the heck aren't they number one...why the heck doesn't EVERYONE realize how great they are? Then you realize that mainstream top40land isn't quite ready for the raw edgy emotion that is Blue October. Their loss.

If you're a fan of the music you have to see them perform, and this dvd is the next best thing to being there...the energy, the psychosis...its all there.

Not the greatest production values, lets face it, they didn't have U2's video budget, but that works in their favor...like the band and the music, it ain't always pretty, but its real.

Buy this DVD, it will change your life!

- Beyond Belief - One of the best concerts ever recorded.

I am almost afraid to write about how much I love this concert. I wasn't even a very big Blue October fan ... until I saw this.

I love concert DVDs, and I have a huge collection, ranging from old Led Zeppelin stuff up through Van Halen and INXS on up to U2 and recent works by My Morning Jacket.

This Blue October concert might be one of the best I have ever seen.

Absolutely incredible. Powerful. Great film work, enormous energy, perfect sound, a great audience, and just flat out jaw-dropping amazing from first to last.

Get this, turn it up really loud, and go nuts bouncing off the walls.

It is that good.
