- Brooks & Dunn should stay together

Red Dirt Road is the quintessential Brooks & Dunn song, in my redneck opionion. I got to see them live in Baton Rouge--in Tiger Stadium, no less--this year at the Bayour Country Superfest, where they played their hearts out for almost two hours for 45,000 appreciative fans. Kix Brooks is from my home town; my nephew has been one of Brooks' assistants for a number of years, so I am a loyal fan. Too bad they are splitting up after all these years, but they both went to Nashville to be solo artists, and neither ever gave up on being a single act.

Buy this collection. It is awesome.
