“Guitar Hero: World Tour” Unveils Full Track ListPhoto:Activision Guitar Hero: World Tour has finally released its full track list. While the list of 86 tracks isn’t as jaw-dropping as that of its counterpart Rock Band 2, there are a bunch of highlights, including a pair of tracks by Jimi Hendrix and Ozzy Osbourne, plus cuts from Metallica, Nirvana, Van Halen, the Doors and Lynyrd Skynyrd. All the songs are original master recordings. There’s karaoke favorites like the Eagles‘ “Hotel California” and, for the true axmen, virtuoso songs like Joe Satriani’s “Satch Boogie.” Additionally, the game will boast exclusive Guitar Duel recordings by Ted Nugent and Zakk Wylde. There’s also a trio of new play options: Band Career, the Music Studio feature and the 8-player Battle of the Bands that allow bands to compete online. GH:WT also has those new instruments, new amps and that exclusive Smashing Pumpkins premiere single “G.L.O.W.” The game hits shelves October 26th. Miley Cyrus Headlines Biggest Concert in Today Show History“I heard some of you have been here since Tuesday!” Miley Cyrus announced candidly to the Today crowd this morning. “I didn’t even start practicing yet then!” The 15-year old was referring to the hundreds — if not thousands — who spent the last three days camping out in New York City’s Rockefeller Center to ensure a good spot for themselves during Cyrus’ four-song set. Over 13,000 people filled the pavilion by 8:30 this morning, making it not only the biggest concert in the morning show’s history, but the first time 48th street had to be closed to accommodate a concert. Cyrus performed her biggest singles (”See You Again,” “7 Things”), then moved on to two tracks from her brand new record Breakout. “This is my favorite so you have to be really loud,” Cyrus said before busting into a twangy, heartached future single “Bottom of the Ocean.” Tweens in homemade Hannah Montana t-shirts and matching gold headbands screamed along with every word of the three-day old song, while others waved “7 Things I love about Miley” posters in front of the cameras. (”She cares about the planet!” one bullet point read.) “Miley 4 Prez,” said another. “Yeah, that would last for like two seconds,” Cyrus responded. Some of Cyrus’ biggest supporters stuck around after the show for a few after to talk business with Rock Daily. See what they had to say below. On The Charts: Keys Edges “Juno” To Reclaim Top Spot The Big News: Alicia Keys’ one-week vacation off the top of the charts came to an end, as As I Am sold 61,259 copies to reclaim the top spot. Last week’s champ, the Juno soundtrack, fell to number two, while the Mars Volta’s Bedlam in Goliath was the week’s top debut, coming in at number three. Debuts: It was a big week for debuts. In addition to the Mars Volta, two other first-weekers hit the top ten, with Bullet For My Valentine’s Scream Aim Fire at four and the 2008 Grammys Nominees compilation at five. Sarah Brightman’s Symphony entered at thirteen, Vampire Weekend’s much-hyped self-titled debut came in at seventeen and Willie Nelson’s Moment of Forever landed at fifty-six. Also of note is Joe Jackson’s Rain, which dropped in at 133. Last Week’s Heroes: It’s hard to consider anyone a “hero” when the best-seller routinely only shifts 60,000 copies. Natasha Bedingfield’s Pocketful of Sunshine dropped from three to twenty-one, while Radiohead’s In Rainbows finally fell out of the top ten after six weeks on the charts. [Photo: Getty]

"Scream, Aim, Fire" by Bullet for My ValentineThe Welsh lads in Bullet for My Valentine give serious props to '80s metal. That becomes instantly apparent after one listen to their sophomore album Scream Aim Fire (Jive). Solos soar higher than hair at a Poison show, while gruff gang vocals ooze cock-rock machismo and Bruce Dickinson-style swagger. Frontman Matt Tuck has confidently taken center stage on the album, crooning, screaming and headbanging an equal amount. He fires off arena-ready hooks on "Waking the Demon" and "Hearts Burst Into Fire." More importantly, the songs become anthemic and infectious, just the way great metal should be. Bullet for My Valentine channel the spirit of the '80s, without coming off as cheesy. In fact, they pay homage to it, and then update it with a modern attitude. On "Deliver Us from Evil," an aggressive guitar riff skyrockets into a melodic lead, while maintaining the slick 21st century tone. Meanwhile "End of Days" sounds like it flew right off a Metal Massacre
