Karen in the midst of her slimming disease anorexia ..... This song was released by The Marvelettes on the Tamla label in 1962, with Gladys Horton, who sung lead. Composed by Marvin Gaye, William "Mickey" Stevenson and Berry Gordy. In 1981, Karen and Richard Carpenter recorded it for their album, "Made in America." They then released it as a single in 1982 Wish Karen was still around.....we miss her voice and her music.....
