Yep, we have Dream Police remastered.... repackaged from the 2006 release.

But the Lap Of Luxury is NOT a remaster. It's repackaged. The disc looks like the original one i bought back when Lap Of Luxury first came out. Just a nicer jewel case.

No, i didn't buy from Amazon on this one. But buyer beware. I took a chance on Lap Of Luxury being remastered and lost. Sony Legacy must be happy though.

- Great sounding remaster and bonus tracks on DP.

This is the same remaster that came out in 2006, but packaged with Lap of Luxury. Beyond the greatness of the Dream Police album, the remastering is punchy and fantastic. The standout track for me is the No Strings remix of Dream Police. The thundering bass makes this track alone worth rebuying if you already own the recording. I don't have any constructive comments on Lap of Luxury since I never owned it. Compared to Dream Police, LOL appears to be a simple repressing of the 1988 release. Generic Epic artwork on the disc and jewel case, and a 4-page booklet. Overall, a really good value.
