- This cd is Awesome

This one is pretty good but it's missing a couple of songs like Santa Claus and His Old Lady. That should of been on here because that song is pretty hard to find. It was only released as a single and was never put on a album. The only place you can find it is on the various artists christmas compilations. It also overlooks the duo's 2 out of print albums, Sleeping Beauty and Let's Make a New Dope Deal, which feature great songs and bits like Bloat on, Queer Wars, Framed, and Sleeping Beauty. It also overlooks the Up in Smoke soundtrack, with the exception of Earache my Eye, which was already on the Wedding Album. The album should of had the origanal version of Earache my Eye that was on the Wedding Album instead of the edited version. It's also missing great bits like Acapulco Gold Filters, Don't Bug Me, Up His Nose, and Black Lassie. It's missing songs like the Up in Smoke Theme and Rock Fight. If the album had songs from all their albums and didn't overlook other great bits and songs, it would of been the only C&C disc most C&C fans would need. I would recommend that you get all their albums though since they all contain high quality material not heard here.

- I just HAD to get this...

...and even though I will only listen to it once or twice, it is just as funny now as it was back in my long haired days.

The technical quality of the CD is very good, MUCH better than my old 8-track or LP of this recording. Sister Mary Elephant shouting a distorted "SHUT-UUUUP!!!! Thank you." never sounded so good.

This is a great CD for bringing back memories of the good old dazed.. uh, I mean days.

"Dave?"

I said "days".

"Dave's not here."

- Greatest Hit? Maybe, Maybe Not...

Depends on what you personally consider "classic". If you are looking for one or two, then, yes, this is your album. If you are looking for several, you are better off getting all of their recorded material, since each album they produced only had one, sometimes two hits. Sargent Stadanko is definitely the best cut on this album. The others, while not as great, are good in their own right. But this appeals only to those who like their humor flaked with drug references. Again, to each his own.

BTW, for those looking for the FULL "Earache My Eye", it is on the Dr. Demento 25TH Anniversary Edition two-CD set.

Hope this helps.

- Denis Leary, eat your heart out! This is "high"-larious!

My uncle's best friend lent me this album on cassette a couple of months ago, and one day, I just popped it in my dad's tape deck and we just listened and listened and listened. IT WAS SO HILARIOUS! I really need to buy this CD. The best track is Pedro and Man at the Drive-In. It's cool that they brought back the characters from UP IN SMOKE on the CD. Well, smoke ya later.
