- Classic Pot Head Humor by the Masters
This album has a lot of very cool Cheech & Chong routines on it. They are classics of the genre, and much funnier than some of the stuff that shows up in their films.
My sister had it when she was in High School, and I used to borrow it. The vinyl album had a great pull out sleeve that showed all the hidden drugs in compartments in the VW Bug on the cover.
I recommend it to anyone who enjoys this kind of humor, wants a blast from the past (70s style), or just wants to check out Cheech Marin before he went 'respectable' and straight (drug-wise). I can't wait to listen to it again, this time on CD.

- Let's talk about your record
I enjoy listening to the comedy routines on this CD. My favourite tracks features the great basketball player Tyrone Shoelaces, who does everything but sell popcorn during half-time. I love BASKETBALL JONES so much I am like a junkie. The song is like a song to me. ;D If you enjoy a good laugh, you will enjoy this CD.
- Liked it!
Good cd get it or got it your it okay bro later man!! "Knock Knock who's there the police whaa.. oooh"
- A Well Rounded Assortment of Comedic Bliss
Los Cochinos was probably the peak of the Cheech and Chong repertoire for the two comic wonders. They soon after devoted the lion's share of their existences to their spotty cinematic endeavors with only The Wedding Album album standing out audibly in that period of time. There's a few strained bits here like the Jewish fellow complaining to the physician about his son's unusual nasal habit, and the Basketball Jones song that's sporadically amusing but otherwise unecessary (it did have some fine musicians on it though, including, I believe, George Harrison). They're all overcome though by instantly vital, everyday vignettes such as Pedro and Man watching late night TV (the WWII German interrogation scene is hilarious with a very clever pay-off). Those same characters at the drive-in efficiently round out the album, especially with Pedro alone with himself while Man is off at the snack bar. Those pesky Rosarita refries catch him off guard, and, oh, how he lets the listener know it. Very funny stuff and obviously still in demand after all these years by how the C & C CDs are fetching the prices they are on Amazon. I'll be saving my pennies to purchase this one and The Wedding Album sometime before I die.

- I admit some of it is funny...........
I admit some of this is funny but I was very spoiled by their first effort and Big Bambu. If you listen to those two albums before hearing this you get that some of Los Cochinos is sequel which some of the Big Bambu is to the first effort. Guess I had grown weary of the rehash.
For some reason I didnt think basketball jones was funny. And the sister Mary Elephant trying to calm the class down was way overblown with students yelling in the background just to be yelling...........not so funny either.
I highly recommend the first two albums if you have not heard them........very funny and breakout material at the time, which may be the other reason for me giving three stars, Cheech and Chong were by now very well known and commercial at the time this album was released.
