Fall Out Boy Tease New Album “Folie A Deux” On New MixtapePhoto: Getty If you were playing along with Fall Out Boy’s “Citizens For Our Betterment” viral game that Pete Wentz constructed, FOB rewarded you today with a new mixtape entitled Welcome to the New Administration. The tape was curated by Wentz and mixtape maestro Clinton Sparks and features spoken word interludes via Ludacris, a smattering of songs by Fueled By Ramen artists and six demos that will eventually find themselves on Fall Out Boy’s new album Folie A Deux. Folie A Deux will be released on November 4th, which is Election Day, as reinforced by the ballot box-themed website where you can download Welcome to the New Administration. As for the non-FOB standouts on the mixtape, check out Cobra Starship’s “I Kissed A Boy,” an obvious homage to the Katy Perry song. Fall Out Boy also promise a “special message” on their website tonight at 7PM EST, so tune into that. News Ticker: Guns N’ Roses, Warped Tour, Richie Sambora, Fall Out Boy While we all wait endlessly for Axl Rose to release the long-delayed Chinese Democracy, the makers of Dr. Pepper are being proactive. The soft drink announced they will provide a free can of the soda to everyone in the U.S. if the album drops this year. “It took a little patience for us to perfect Dr Pepper’s special mix of 23 ingredients, so we completely understand and empathize with Axl’s [quest] for the perfect album,” said a Dr. Pepper spokesperson. Paramore, Gym Class Heroes, Against Me!, Cobra Starship and others will headline this year’s Warped tour. The forty-six date tour will kick off in Los Angeles on June 20th. Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was arrested yesterday morning and charged with a DUI after allegedly driving drunk in Laguna Beach, California. Sambora previously spent two stints in rehab in 2007. The risks of playing concerts in Antarctica: After “bad weather” postponed Fall Out Boy’s trip to the South Pole, the band’s “runway” — a part of the Wilkins Ice Shelf — collapsed into the sea. The band remains in Chile until conditions improves.

New Reviews: Cobra Starship, the Stone Roses and Mindy SmithPhoto:Wargo/WireImageWe’re exactly one month away from the release of Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 and the end of the slow summer release schedule, but there are a couple new albums out this week to keep your ears interested until Jigga’s newest LP arrives on September 11th. For starters, there’s Cobra Starship’s third disc Hot Mess, a literal hot mess of chart-topping singles like “Good Girls Go Bad” (featuring Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester) and failed snark in the form of songs called “Pete Wentz
