Disco de Corrosion Of Conformity: “Live Volume [CD & DVD]”

In my opinion, almost everything COC does is awesome. They are the ultimate band for me, a combo of Southern Rock and Heavy Metal. They are just like a marriage between Lynyrd Skynrd and Black Sabbath... or perhaps ZZ Top and Black Flag. Totally unique but totally palatable. I have never played this band for someone who did not end up thinking they were great. A great groove with a heavy stroke and a ton of southern sensibility. Half the band is from Raleigh, NC and the other half is from New Orleans, LA. Cool stuff, let me tell you. It's worth the $5 to find out what a great band is. They jam, they groove, they hit you over the head. Fun and full of energy. I hope they never get old. The best songs on this CD are: SERGIO LIMPIO, WISEBLOOD, WHO'S GOT THE FIRE?, ALBATROSS, 7 DAYS, VOTE WITH A BULLET, LONG WHIP/BIG AMERICA and CLEAN MY WOUNDS. Every other song is just great. CHECK THIS ONE OUT!!! IT'S WORTH IT.

Beware each disc in this combo pack only has 10 songs instead of the normal 15. I'm not sure why there is a shorter version. Waste of money...
