This deluxe version of THORNOGRAPHY features previously unreleased bonus tracks that were written during the original album sessions, but completed later. The MVI bonus content includes music videos, behind-the-scenes video footage, remixable tracks, mobile ringtones, PC wallpaper, and instant messenger icons.
<p>This release includes both a regular audio CD and a DVD-Audio Disc. The DVD-Audio disc can only be read by a DVD-Audio compatible DVD player.

Dani Filth and company notch back the orchestral touches prevalent on CoF's recent works opting for a less sonically dense but no less heavy album. Amidst the requisite thrashy brutality, HIM vocalist Ville Valo and newcomer chanteuse Harry guest-spot, creating some of the most interesting and melodic moments.

- Where is the 5.1 sound ?
I must give this 3 stars , not due to the fact that I do not like the album , but because the MVI is not what it was promoted to be . This was supposed to be in 5.1 surround sound , but there is no such thing . The DVD side of the MVI is only in 48/16 PCM without it being surround .
Other than that the album (which i also own on regular cd) is excellent and all the other goodies and extras of MVI as well worth buying .

This release has new artwork included, but does not include
the original album cover artwork in the paper booklet. The
DVD contains the original album in stereo, but not 5.1
(note that DVD-Audio is a specific technology such as
Blu-ray or SACD). On the DVD, each song from the album
plays in stereo with artwork displayed on the screen for
each song. All the bonuses in addition to the original album
makes this release well worth getting if you plan to enjoy
it on DVD.

- Great Introduction
My friends were talking about this band, so I went on line to check them out.
This disc covered a lot of there music, from past to present. After listening
to this disc, I have purchase several other of there disc. Enjoy! "Thank You"
