Cradle Of Filth start work on new album

Cradle Of Filth have entered Monkey Puzzle studios in Bury St. Edmunds to begin work on All Hallow's Eve, the follow-up to 2008's Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder. The album will be released on Peaceville via the band's own AbraCadaver imprint later this year.

Cradle guitarist injured on stage at Bloodstock

British black metallers Cradle Of Filth were forced to cut their performance at this weekend's Bloodstock festival short after guitarist Paul Allender was injured by a projectile thrown by a member of the audience. The band were playing the main stage on Saturday (August 15) when the incident occurred. Allender was treated in hospital later that evening for undisclosed injuries. Cradle Of Filth studio bound

Cradle Of Filth will enter the studio in later this year to start work on the follow-up to 2008's Godspeed On The Devil's Thunder. "Everything is at an embryonic stage at present," said frontman Dani Filth. "But with a full band contributing towards the writing process, our aim of being in the studio by November is not as far-fetched as it would at first seem." The band's ninth studio effort will be released in spring 2010 through Roadrunner.

Brand scandal girl to tour with William Control

New Cradle song online!

Cradle of Filth have added new song Midnight Shadows Crawl To Darken Counsel With Life to the music player of their revamped website. The nine-minute song is taken from forthcoming album Godspeed On The Devil’s Thunder which has been described by the band as “their filthiest yet”. The group’s new website is community-based, with members encouraged to post their own content about the band. The album is due out on October 28 on Roadrunner Records.
