Description: Cypress Hill has long represented the will of the people. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, the Los Angeles trio of rappers B-Real, Sen Dog and producer DJ Muggs have continued to push rap's boundaries since their inception in the early 90s.
With their creative phrasing, distinctive voices and graphic subject matter coupled with DJ Muggs' atmospheric, piercing and dusty beats, Cypress Hill has established themselves as one of rap's most potent acts.
In 2010 Cypress Hill will release their 8th studio album, ' Rise Up' produced by Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, and featuring the talents of Pete Rock, Daron Malakian, Mike Shinoda, Apathy, Pitbull, Marc Anthony and more. 'Rise Up' is the trio's first release under the Snoop Dogg administration at Priority Records.
Over the years, the crew's dynamic stage show has evolved into one of raps most polished. In 2010 Cypress Hill bring their legendary live show to Australia for a national tour.

Description: Cypress Hill has long represented the will of the people. With over 18 million albums sold worldwide, the Los Angeles trio of rappers B –Real, Sen Dog and producer DJ Muggs have continued to push rap’s boundaries since their inception in the early 90s.
With their eponymous debut album in 1991, B –Real and Sen Dog established themselves as one of rap’s most potent duos. Their creative phrasing, distinctive voices and graphic subject matter, coupled with DJ Muggs’ atmospheric, piercing and dusty beats, propelled the trio to international superstar status.
In 2010 Cypress Hill will release their 8th studio album, ‘ Rise Up’ produced by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine, and featuring the talents of Pete Rock, Daron Malakian, Mike Shinoda, Apathy, Pitbull, Marc Anthony and more. ‘Rise Up’ is the trio’s first release under the Snoop Dogg administration at Priority Records.
As the years have passed, the crew’s dynamic stage show – bolstered in 1994 by the addition of percussionist Eric Bobo (also of Beastie Boys fame) – has evolved into one of raps most polished, as such intense tunes, ‘Insane In The Brain’, ‘Rock Superstar’, ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man’, ‘We Ain’t Goin’ Out Like That’, ‘Lick A Shot’ and ‘Real Estate’ translated perfectly to the stage. Given this reality, it’s little surprise that Cypress Hill remain a major concert draw, even when they take time off between albums.
In 2010 Cypress Hill bring that legendary live show to Australia for a national tour and to headline the Coaster Festival at Gosford, on the NSW Central Coast.
Rise Up is in store now through Priority Records and EMI Australia.

Description: 1998 marked a decade in the careers of the pioneering rap-rock quartet CYPRESS HILL. In celebration, CYPRESS HILL released their 4th album appropriately titled IV, and hosted a record release party that broke down the CYPRESS HILL way of life for all their fans to see, experience, and make their own. This event was the SMOKE OUT.
CYPRESS HILL, in conjunction with INSIDER MAGAZINE, would turn the SMOKE OUT into the ultimate music fusion festival featuring the hard core, underground, and in your face experience that mainstream concert promoters just could not provide. The SMOKE OUT brought together leaders in rap-rock, hip hop, alternative, rock, metal, punk, dance, and reggae on dual stages along with a vendor village, indoor club / lounge featuring World Class DJ’s, DJ battles, movie premieres, and backstage V.I.P. parties where fans didn’t just sit and watch their favorite artists party, fans partied like rock stars with them.
This event would solidify CYPRESS HILL’s place as Southern California hip hop legends as well as catapult INSIDER MAGAZINE’s growth into GUERILLA UNION due to the high demand for more events that captured the unique SMOKE OUT experience. The SMOKE OUT stands as a celebration of self expression, individuality, and the freedom to choose your own way of life. Artists that have supported this movement range from Jurassic 5 and the Long Beach Dub All Stars in 1998, System of a Down and Dead Prez in 2000, the Deftones and Busta Rhymes in 2001, Mudvayne and Snoop Dogg in 2002, Linkin Park and DMX in 2003 just to name a few.
With their music, CYPRESS HILL, has broken down the musical and cultural barriers between hip-hop, alternative, metal, rock, reggae, ska, and latin music. The SMOKE OUT encompasses what CYPRESS HILL represents and allows concert go-ers to bask in their world. Definitely not your traditional record release party, the SMOKE OUT truly is an all day mind opening festival.
