- Retro Meets Synth

Catchy, catchy, catchy. Daft Punk has done it again, producing a lot out of very little, reminiscent of their uber-hit "Around the World" off of the album HOMEWORK. This time around, it's the phrase "one more time...music got me feeling so free...we're going to celebrate...celebrate and dance so free..." Mixed with an ear-catching retro beat of the disco era, not to mention the distorted twang and synthesizer induced vocals reminiscent of early new wave groups of the 80s, "One More Time" proves to appeal on many levels. It's a smart song. It's architecturaly rich, yet minimal. Nostalgic, yet new and modern. Daft Punk are innovators. What's next?

- Promising...but never made it :(

About the first 20 seconds of One More Time are actually worth listening to. The brass sample started a catchy track, but stops, and just has a vocoded voice (Romanthony)for around 3 min! This is nothing like the Daft Punk from Homework, and its not even house, mearly some vocoded voice over a drum loop. Save yourself the money and buy Homework, or the Stardust single.

- Dissapointed !

Dissapointment of the year for me, no doubt. I was expecting big things of this but it is way too cheesy and offers nothing new (like their earlier works did). Stardust was much better than this. I also don't understand why they felt the need to ruin Romanthony's voice as he's a great singer. You should rather check out the new Demon single if you can 'You are my high'. Now that is a quality tune, wish the new Daft punk sounded like that.

- Umm..is there another artist named Daft Punk?

The drums, vocals, and synths sound nothing like Daft Punk. If you enjoyed the classic album "Homework", then do not buy this. The first thing that came to mind was "Eiffel 65". It's super cheesy Hit Radio crap. Its ok. The boys had a miscue. It happens to everyone. I just hope this doesn't happen again, because I though Homework was the best House album ever. Oh well, last advice: Don't buy this pop.

- This is daft punk??

This track was a disappoitment for me. It's catchy but little else, thomas bangalter obviously wanted a big pop hit and sunk low to get it. Sound's like a cross between Eifel 65 and Cher's "beleive"....
