Disco de Dead by April: “Dead by April”

You have to be into this kind of music I think to really like it. But the lyrics can catch even the non-metal fan.

I don't know how I haven't heard of these guys. One thing about them...they're incredible and a little bit different from stuff you've heard before. The Swedish metal scene has traits you just won't hear with our U.S. metal, namely, a ton of synth piano and a lot of clean vocals. Clean vocals are incredible as are the screams. Look on the acoustic sessions these guys do on YouTube, they're absurd. Moments of In Flames-inspired music for sure. Parts of the clean vocals remind me of something you'd see out of Glee or something, as weird as that sounds.

I absolutely love this band and the CD. I was happily surprised when the CD came before the expected date given to me. I would definately buy from this seller again.

I would define them as mostly rock-based with a pinch of metal and a touch of electronica. Listen to their music on YouTube and you can decide for yourself whether you like it or not. Personally, I became addicted after hearing it in the background of a fan-made AMV (anime music video). I'd say listen to at least two of their songs. They have something unique and their lyrics are pretty good.
