This has some really great early Deep Purple tracks that you don't hear any more. You can get some other "Greatest Hits" albums that spotlight their more mainstream hits, and this album does contain some popular hits like "Hush", "Hey Joe" and "I'm So Glad". But it's almost impossible to find a recording of one of my all-time favorites, "Chasing Shadows". Nice, also to have a copy of "Why Didn't Rosemary." If you want Deep Purple's "top forty" hits, get another greatest hits album. If you're looking for early music that built the foundation of what they later became, get this.
