- Resurgence of DE- EVOlution.

This song started out as a commercial for Dell computers, but as a Big fan of DEVO it is so much more, the song very much "Rocks" IT has a very edgy guitar sound, and a very tight percussion and synthezier production,I basicaly bought the vinyl for collection purposes, but I also bought the MP3 so I could listen to it, and I am very happy with it.

Q. Are we not men? A. We are DEVO

Thanks again for the prompt service! ---Bryon

- Worth it for the cover art alone.

The song is great. It's one of Devo's finest songs since 1982, and it wouldn't really even sound out of place on one of their classic albums. The reviewer complaining about the extra tracks all sounding the same is missing the point. He's right about one thing, though. This release is certainly for Devo collectors. That's why it's a vinyl only release.

For Devo fans, this is great. Not only is the proper version of the song great, but the bonus songs are also really neat. The demo version is another in the long list of great Devo songs that have had demos officially released. Another is always a welcome addition. Then we have an instrumental version of the demo. Also nice to have. Would be great for remixers! Then we have the "Still Workin" version of the song, which sounds like old school wacky Devo mixed with their EZ Listening style. Devo + Zany synths = instant win.

The Attery Squash song is not all that interesting musically, but thematically it's a great track to have. I will be playing it for a lot of people I know who will probably actually like it.

But... even if the record were totally blank, I would probably still have bought it due to the awesome cover art. Is that the coolest image ever or what?

- Must have for collectionists.

I definitely recommend this to those who are looking for all things DEVO. The single can be had in digital format so quit complaining. But for a true audio experience (IMHO) this vinyl release is a treat. Plus you get:(A) 1. Watch Us Work It (Teddybears Mix 2:14) 2. Watch Us Work It (Original Demo 2:18) 3. Watch Us Work It (Karaoke Mix 3:12) (B) 1.Watch Us Work It (Still Workin' Mix 4:19) 2. DEVO was right about everything (The DEVO mix 3:05). This last track by The Attery Squash.

- Work It On A CD

My thoughts are, well why is it a vinyl 12"? Anyway, got these songs on CD with various padded bonus tracks I did for myself and really, most of it is the same really, just a slight change of instrumental placement. Personally, no CD single, then its lost in the shuffle. The song was used on a Dell computer commercial a while back and really, stick with the mp3 download of the single track, there really is no big difference unless your a hardcore collector.
