- Fair warning time.
I LOVE DEVO. But just in case you are a casual consumer you should note that, for the same price, you can get the 16 track "Greatest Hits." The aforementioned disc includes both "Beautiful World" and "Through Being Cool," which would both rate on my list of an essential Devo disc.
Forewarned is forearmed.

- Get the WB Greatest Hits/Misses If Your On a Budget
If your a Spud down on your luck and on a budget, get the WB Greatest Hits/Misses, you'll get over 30 of their songs on 2 used CD's for about the price of this one alone. If you're not on a budget than get all their WB releases, its worth it! There are a lot of great songs that they didn't have room for.

- New Wave at it's best!
Devo remains an enigma of a group to alot of people. They are considered 1 hit wonders, and with good reason, they did only have 1 true hit in "Whip It". However they also made alot of very good music in the early part of the 80's. Though they never really made a big splash after "Whip It", they deserve alot of respect for pushing new wave and post punk music to a whole level. One of the highlights is "Jerkin Back and Forth", a VERY good song to go cruising to on a sunny afternoon with the windows down. A MUST HAVE for any fan of 80's music and new wave in general.
