Amy Lee "doesn't have an opinion" on We Are The Fallen

Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee has told US magazine Billboard that she "doesn't have an opinion" on We Are The Fallen, the new band featuring former Evanescence guitarists Ben Moody and John LeCompt, drummer Rocky Gray, ex-Disturbed bassist Marty O'Brien and former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson. Lacuna Coil name new album

Italian goth metal megastars, Lacuna Coil, will release the much anticipated follow-up to their 2006 album, Karmacode, on April 20 through Century Media. The new album will be entitled Shallow Life, and it was produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Good Charlotte, Avril Lavigne). "Shallow Life is a natural metamorphosis from within the band," says frontwoman Cristina Scabbia. "We explored different musical territories while maintaining our own style. A mix of old and new, fast and slow, light and dark. "The album production is incredibly powerful and has a beautiful purity to it," she continues. "Hopefully listeners will feel the same sort of connection that we have to these songs. It would be great to think that we have produced songs that will make anybody either think, smile or cry. Shallow Life has forced us to challenge ourselves. It represents the way we see ourselves in the days we live in through truth, love and lies." The band will tour the US with Disturbed and Killswitch Engage on Music As A Weapon from March to May before hitting the European festival circuit.

Disturbed complete work on new album

Disturbed have completed work on the follow-up to 2008's Indestructible. The album, which was produced by the band, will be titled Asylum. "It's still identifiably Disturbed, but showing more maturation," says frotnman David Draiman. "We feel this is one of the strongest bodies of work we've ever put together. We Are The Fallen announce debut UK gig!

Former Evanescence members Ben Moody, John LeCompt and Rocky Gray will play their first official show with their new outfit We Are The Fallen in London next month. The band, who also feature former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson and ex-Disturbed bassist Marty O’Brien, will play London’s Kings College on March 23. Tickets go on sale this Friday (February 5) at 9AM from www.aloud.com.

Meet the new Evanescence!

Former Evanescence members Ben Moody (guitar), John LeCompt (guitar) and Rocky Gray (drums) have teamed up with former American Idol contestant Carly Smithson and ex-Disturbed bassist Marty O'Brian to form a new band, The Fallen.
