- Mmm not really what I was expecting

The music is great. But the tracking list is not what it says. So, I did not get the song I was looking for.

- interesting group

My version of this CD has 18 tracks, but it's the US version released by WB/Sire in 1989. Most songs are sung in Spanish, but there are four "bonus" cuts at the end of the disc, English versions of some of the more popular songs on the same album. Duncan Dhu were/are a very interesting group. They were pushed by the "Alternative Marketing Department" of Warners around 1989-90, mostly because their sound fit roughly in that demographic. But whatever you want to label the band, their songs had a refreshingly catchy vibe to them; very melodic with a folky element. I read somewhere that they were big Everly Brothers fans, and I can believe that after hearing this album. Some good songs on here, even if you don't understand Spanish. The melodic hooks will get you regardless.
