- The Elements shine here

for me there is nothing quite like prime time Earth, wind and Fire. talk about top tier songs, production, musicianship,arrangements,vocals...etc??? I Mean the Elements had it all back in the day and these songs are a reflection of that. Maurice White,Charles Stephney and the OG's that made up the Fire in there Prime and Peak set it off here. props to the Elements for Bringing the Kalimba drum to life on record. fantastic!! they are the Greatest Band Ever to me.

- Doesn't get any better than this...

I was a hardcore jazz snob when I was in high school in the mid 70's UNTIL I heard Earth Wind & Fire.

People back then would compare them to the Commodores, which meant to me that they knew nothing about music.

Maurice White's vision was like no other - positive lyrics, jazz influences everywhere, top caliber musicianship and songwriting, and a groove that slams from Denver to Madagascar. If you only want to own one EWF collection, this is it. I have everything they've ever done, including live albums from Rio and Tokyo.

It doesn't get any better than this...
