Famous Band to Perform for President & Michelle ObamaPresident Obama and the first lady have invited a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band to perform at the White House. Earth Wind & Fire -- famous for hit tunes such as "Shining Star" and "September" -- will jam at the first family’s home on Feb. 22 after the Governor’s Dinner, an event hosted by the Obamas. The president once told Rolling Stone magazine that Earth Wind & Fire was one of his favorite bands. This summer, the group embarks on a national concert tour with fellow classic-rockers Chicago.
