As the picture below also indicates, he was snuggling up with a certain someone outside the hot spot, as wellAnd that someone is NOT Antonella Barba or Jordin Sparks, both of whom the spiked-hair beat boxer has been linked with.Blake Lewis makes like Paris Hilton and Cisco Adler with this unnamed woman.While Lewis may be breaking hearts across the country with this smooch, fans of the crooner do have some good news: Earlier this month, Blake disclosed he has already recorded six songs for his upcoming album, due at the end of 2007.“I try not to be put in a box,” he said. “I’m inspired by everything. I’ve got six tracks done. I’ve got a track that’s very Erasure-sounding, a track that’s Sting-meets-Neverending Story and a track that’s very electro-poppy Depeche Mode. It’s all over the map.”We can’t wait. We also think Blake should keep his options open before settling down with the woman above. Remember, Jessica Alba is single now.

An Interview with Blake Lewis

Let’s read a couple highlights from an interview BuddyTV recently conducted with American Idol runner-up, Blake Lewis. His album hit stores this week…How would you describe the feel of the album, and the songs that are on the album, to someone who might not be a fan of yours yet? Easy. Well, if they were born in the ‘80s they’ll get it. I call it my 2080s record. All of my influences are very ’80s derived: Michael Jackson, Prince, U2, The Police, The Cure, Erasure, New Order, Depeche Mode. All of my melodic tendencies are basically ‘80s driven, so the record has this very electro soul funk pop kind of feel to it, where every song transitions or doesn’t transition into the next song.Just like an electronic mix tape or a hip-hop mix tape. Yeah, there you have it. It’s called ADD, Audio Day Dream. Everyone thought I had ADD growing up just because I’m very high energy and focused.Why should Blake Lewis worry? The American Idol favorite has a new album out and a legion of fans.You’ve been making music for a long time now. Do any of the song’s have origins prior to American Idol? Oh yeah, definitely. The whole concept of the album has been mine for years. I have old sample discs that say “B Shorty, ADD Sampler” from like four years ago. Three, four years ago. So definitely there’s a lot of concepts of songs that I wrote that were in my book and my journals.There’s definitely a lot of stuff on there from the past, and working with these amazing producers that have inspired me for years. Everyone knows that Britney Spears just wants to have fun.What she doesn’t want to do is do anything resembling singing.It turns out Spears won’t appear at Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” concert on Saturday after all. The demands of the producers were just too great!Earlier this week, Britney Spears’ choreographer, Misha Gabriel, announced that the pantsless train wreck would perform at Lauper’s show alongside musical acts like Erasure, Debbie Harry and The MisShapes.But now, apparently Cyndi Lauper’s camp is reportedly telling Britney Spears something along the lines of “don’t call us, we’ll call you… never.”A source now tells the New York Post’s Page Six, “There’s no way. Britney said she would only dance or lip-synch - and to be on stage with Cyndi, you have to actually perform. It’s not happening now.”THG NOTE: We’re no music experts, but if you can’t hack it at a Cyndi Lauper show, Britney, that doesn’t exactly bode well for your big career “comeback.” The news is sure to come as a blow to Rosie O’Donnell, who is scheduled to appear in the show as a special guest, and gave a special shout-out to the troubled Spears in a video posted on her blog last week.Before Roise posted that photo of her daughter, that is.Meanwhile, reports are surfacing Britney Spears and mom Lynne Spears have not exactly patched things up, as was recently reported by this celebrity gossip site and others.Britney Spears is reportedly still pissed that Lynne went and talked to a glossy about her - and feels “betrayed” by that as well as being “forced” into rehab.A stint that obviously did so much good. Rosie O’Donnell has left The View.Unfortunately, the round mound of sound is still within full view of celebrity gossip writers - not to mention viable news outlets - everywhere.The latest focal point of the gargoyle’s attention: Britney Spears. What’s surprising is that the fallen star has the full support of the embattled talk show host.Rosie O’Donnell sent a video message to Spears, welcoming her to the Cyndi Lauper show June 30 that will feature none other O’Donnell on the drums. Yippee.“Britney, if you’re watching, honey, you and me – we’re gonna share, like, a moment, ’cause I love you, kid!” O’Donnell said on the video during a tour stop in Texas.Spears’ choreographer tells People that the pop star plans to join Lauper and others onstage at the Greek Theatre in L.A. Britney Spears to Show Off True (Train Wreck) Colors

Girls, like, just wanna have fun, y’all!Having completed a quote-unquote comeback mini-tour of Southern California and Las Vegas in early May, Britney Spears is ready to hit the stage again.On Friday, June 30 at L.A.’s Greek Theatre, Britney will perform along with Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes, Jeffree Star and host Margaret Cho as part of the “True Colors” tour, said Spears’ choreographer, Misha Gabriel.Friday at the Millennium Dance Complex in North Hollywood, Britney Spears held final callbacks to find the two male dancers she’ll add to her act.The only snag? She never showed up.Yet another vote of confidence that the career of Britney Spears is getting back on track, and a terrific sign of the train wreck yet to come.The plan had been for Spears to select two male backup dancers (out of 21) to join her in the choreographic number she’ll perform at the Greek.Instead, she went AWOL and put her two longtime trusted female backup dancers - Criscilla Crossland and Lark (not cousin Alli Sims) - in charge of the process. The two taped all the aspirants for Spears to observe and select at a later time.No word on whether she was too busy shopping for birds or actually spending some rare quality time with Sean Preston and Jayden James to attend.Earlier, on June 7 at Millennium, Spears oversaw auditions herself as nearly 150 men seeking to pop, lock, whack, vogue, b-boy, breakdance, robot and moonwalk their way into her pants routine.
