- The best or second-best Faithless album...

It is very difficult to top the white-hot, cumulative intensity of 2005's "No Roots" but for stand-alone tunes (which still have their own kind of unity...) "Reverence" is also outstanding. The remix disk "Irreverence" - which is included in some versions of this album - delivers consistently superb alternatve versions of these songs, notable even for a group that has one of the finest catalogues of remixes in Musicdom.

Don't debate: buy "Reverence" and "No Roots". You will be sickened to hear that this protean, unpredictable, unclassifiable artist/producer trio has announced "No Roots" to be their last album while ho-hum nonentity derivative acts roll on forever.

- Doesn't leave my CD player

I bought this CD on a whim, when I one of my friends played Insomnia for me, and I have been hooked on it ever since. This is my first dance/electronica/techno (whatever it's called) CD, and was the main reason I moved on to Crystal Method, the Chemical Brothers, etc. (I know, I'm a beginner.) I can listen to the entire CD without skipping over anything, which is a rarity. This CD is perfect to listen to while you are doing something else--like studying or reading, because it creates perfect background ambience. My favorite songs are Don't Leave (one of the best love songs ever) and Insomnia (the remix, of course). Highly, highly recommend this CD.

- Stunning. Must have.

I am 32 and have a very catholic taste and music collection, ranging from Petula Clark and folk music to the inevitable Fatboy Slim, via Gary Numan, Squeeze, Bobby McFerrin, Abba, The Fugees, Nirvana and Underworld.

Amongst all of this, Faithless have definitively produced the best albums, in the world, ever. Even better than Underworld. Really.

Just buy it. And if you can get hold of the double-CD limited edition, kill for it. The remix album is even better than the main one.

And don't forget Sunday 8pm. Just as good.

Oh, but you should spend several thousand on a good Hi Fi first...

- Think carefully before buying this album

This is an OK album, but it's not great. Anyone who's bought Sunday 8pm can tell you that Faithless can do SOOOO much better than this. If you want to buy this record, think twice about it - the best songs on the album (Insomnia, Salva Mea, Reverence) are all singles anyway, and the singles have all the best mixes. The double-CD version of Reverence (with bonus remix disc 'Irreverence') is worth checking out, but otherwise save your money, because it just isn't worth it.

- Great CD!

After I bought the Reverence CD, I didn't really listen to it, because I expected something different. But after a while I took it out again, and now it is the CD that I'm listening to the most. Songs like Insomnia are just great, because they are always moving. You can listen to it forever, not like some songs that you hear on the radio every day, and after two weeks you can't stand them any more. Deffinitely one of the best CD's I've ever bought!
