Disco de Faithless: “Dance”

I have waited patiently for 3 years(since the release of "to all new arrivals") for the release of this latest Faithless masterpiece;"The Dance".And I have to say that without a doubt, this by far,is thier best Album(cd).From the opening track "not going home",to the final track "sun to me".No band,and I'm including the lads from Dublin,the mighty U2.Can provoke equal parts tears,laughter,and optimism(on world politics/poverty),through their lyrics,and ambient dance sounds,like our beloved Faithless can.So hears to you "Blissie","Jazzy",Rollo,Aubrey,Dido,Mia,and whomever else,that I'm leaving out here,in this coronation.A heart filled thank you,from all us Faithless fanatics.

Faithless have now been around along time and i was a bit hesitant in buying a CD from an artist that was in their twilight years however was i so wrong. They seemed to have got a second wind and this CD proves that exceptional artists such as Faithless simply dont fade away. Great songs, great production....as good as any of their previous efforts.

It's been a long time coming, (as Dido sings on North Star), but it was worth the wait.

Back to a more dance based sound, this album is rhythmic, uplifting, and memorable - This is the album that lifts you out of the global recession, and onto the dance floor...

Although I love the dance tracks on the CD - the absolute stand-out for me is still Dido's co-written 'North Star' - it's destined to be a classic.

Yes it's been difficult to get a copy here in the US because of the whole iTunes and Tesco 'exclusive' - but that's why Amazon has other channels you can buy from.

Can't wait to hear the rest of the remixes and singles as the album get's rolled out - and here's hoping they tour the US!
