Location: Huxleys Patrick Stump von FALL OUT BOY arbeitet sich als Gast auf THE ROOTS "Birthday Girl" gerade durch die deutschen Charts und praktiziert damit mit den Phillysoundgöttern praktisch das, was das Quartett aus Chicago ständig macht: die Musikfreunde mit einem Ohrwurm nach dem anderen beglücken. Hierzulande waren FALL OUT BOY nach dem Debut "Take This To Your Grave" ein heiß gehandelter Geheimtip, der nach kurzer Zeit so gar nicht mehr ganz geheim war. Und mit dem Album "Under The Cork Tree", welches Anfang 2006 veröffentlicht wurde, gab es im Falle FALL OUT BOY kein Halten mehr. Für die erste Single "Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down" aus ihrem Zweitwerk bekamen sie sofort den MTV2 Award bei den alljährlichen MTV Video Music Awards. Und die melodiösen, energiegeladene Emo-Punkrock-Popsongs mit der klaren, angenehmen Stimme von Frontmann Patrick Stump und seinen teilweise ironischen Lyrics lösten auch bei uns Begeisterungsstürme aus! Nachdem im vergangenen Jahr das Studioalbum "Infinity On High" auch hierzulande auf zahlreichen Shows vorgestellt wurde, avancierten FALL OUT BOY weltweit zu absoluten Superstars und endgültig auch zu Lieblingen der deutschen Livefans. Und damit nicht genug: nach der Feuerprobe in unseren Breitengraden konnten sie im vergangenen Sommer in Ruhe die Bühne in Phoenix, Arizona entern, um vor über 20.000 Fans das Album und die DVD "Live in Phoenix" aufzunehmen, welche hierzulande die letzten Fans überzeugten, das man FALL OUT BOY einfach live erleben muss. Tickets priced €37.50 incl. booking fee are available on general sale from 9 am, this Friday 8 August at all usual Ticketmaster outlets. Under 16’s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
