- If I Had 3 Thumbs, They'd be Up Right Now
Fall Out Boy's first album, Evening Out With Your Girlfriend is really amazing. If you listen to it you can almost tell that they're developing their signiture emo/punk sound that they produce through their music today. I also enjoy how they have the first "Calm Before The Storm" and how they also have it redone on Take This To Your Grave. The songs that stand out for me on this CD are:
-Calm Before The Storm
-Pretty in Punk
-The World's Not Worth Waiting (For Five Tired Boys In A Broken Down Van)
-Parker Lewis Can't Lose (But I'm Gunna Give It My Best Shot)
All in all, this CD is a MUST for any Fall Out Boy fan. Add this CD to your collection today, you won't be sorry you did.

- gotta agree
i've been a fan of fob for a while, and because of that I decided to shell out 15 bucks for this crap, despite it's bad reviews. well, now that i have it first hand, I can say with full confidence that it blows. I really wanted to like it because it was falloutboy, but damn, it's not good. the production is terrible (seriously, I've heard better from cheap home studio equip.), and the arrangement of the tracks just doesn't flow well at all. with only 8 songs (calm before the storm doesn't count, as it appears on TTTYG), and 24 miuntes of music, it doesn't really feel like a full album either, more like an EP. Don't get me wrong, I really like falloutboy, and their talent is still visible even through the cheap sound, but part of me wishes I had just downloaded instead. Don't listen to mr. uprising either, he's a real a**. It's totally well known the sean keeps ALL the profits from the bands work on "girlfriend", and the fact that he keeps remixing it for re-sale is a joke. STAY AWAY from the new copy released on may 17th, and if you feel you must hear the 8 new tunes, find it for download and save you dough. it's a lose, lose situation, both for the band and for you wallet. 2 stars, but ONLY cuz' it's FOB. not a quality product.

- Pop-Punk at its best!
Fall Out Boy is a great band. These guy have just got on Fueled by ramen which i'm sure is a great move by the band. This cd is well produced and the songs are great. The singer's voice is really clear and he always hits the exact right notes. If you like The Starting Line you will love these guy's. There releasing a new full length this year on Fueled by ramen which i cant wait to hear. Get this cd!!

It's a great cd. Fall Out Boy is an amazing band and has so much talent. However, I must say that this CD is more than likely only good to the die hard fans. Get take this to your grave first and then come back to this CD and you'll be impressed with how much they have grown musically. Enjoy!

- Different From New, Still Great For True Fans
I bought this cd thinking it would be like their new stuff (take this to your grave/from under the cork tree), but i was in for a suprise! It's not touched up by the studio as much, so you hear the true band. Still talented, but they sound very young and the lyrics are less involved. They were able to turn a phrase from the beginning though! Fall Out Boy is my favorite band, so I absolutely love this cd. 'Calm Before The Storm' is not the same as on Take This To Your Grave, so it's worth buying. 'Pretty in Punk' is amazing and so is 'Parker Lewis can't Lose'. Five stars, and I would recommend buying this, it's going to be a classic one day.
