Sonisphere add more bands

Having already announced the likes of Alice Cooper, Anthrax, The Cult, Iggy & The Stooges, Motley Crue, Slayer and headliners Iron Maiden and Rammstein, Sonisphere have added five more bands to their 2010 line-up. Fear Factory pull out of Sonisphere

Recently reunited industrial metallers Fear Factory have been forced to cancel their entire European tour due to legal issues surrounding the use of the Fear Factory name. The band - which features original singer Burton C Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares - pulled-out of Spain's Metalway Festival yesterday (June 21) and have also cancelled their appearance at the UK's Sonisphere festival (which takes place on August 1 and 2 at Knebworth) as well as their entire German tour which was due to kick o

Fear Factory men reunite for a new side-project

Fear Factory frontman Burton C. Bell has reunited with guitarist Dino Cazares for a new side-project. This is the first time the pair have work together since Cazares left the seminal industrial band in 2002. Although details on the new band are currently scarce, bassist Byron Stroud, who previously played with Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad, and former Testament drummer Gene Hoglan are rumoured to be featuring in the line-up.
