Análisis (en inglés) - Yahoo! Music - Rob O'Connor :
Primarily the work of two men, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner, and their ever-evolving list of guests (the late Susan Sontag and ex-4 Non-Blondes’ Linda Perry among them), Fischerspooner don’t shy from the electroclash competition with their second album Odyssey. * No, they employ Perry to make them catchier (“A Kick In The Teeth” leaves an impressionable stain), Sontag to make them artier (to her poem “We Need A War”), ex-Talking Head David Byrne to make them even artier (“Get Confused”) in case anyone missed their point and even themselves to keep things real. (Keeping it thus can be extremely difficult for musicians invited to prestigious art openings and fashion events.) These downtown NYC hipsters know a thing or two about keeping all their customers satisfied. That’s why there’s a little something for everyone. Sonic snobs will still find plenty of turbo-charged electronics to get excited over, but the real trick here is just how accessible and even (gasp--sshh!) conventional some of these tunes actually are.
