- A great live Flogging Molly experience

The CDs and DVD represent a very competently played and recorded live show. Flogging Molly is an awesome live act and this package allows fans to get a Molly fix until their next time in town. I saw them for the first time in Portland, OR (about a month after this show was recorded) and was blown away. I couldn't believe they played so many songs (obviously, enough to fill two CDs). The songs are relatively faithful to the studio recordings, which is both good and bad. It's good because so many bands mangle songs when they go too far astray (e.g. radically changing the tempo or style of a song). But for the same reason, it's also bad because only when bands take that risk do they have a good chance of making a truly ground breaking live album that attracts new fans (I'm thinking of something like Clapton's Just One Night or Frampton Comes Alive). As it stands, this a great treat for Flogging Molly fans. However, if I had not heard much of the band and wanted to hear more (or if I wanted to introduce a friend to this music), I would pick up Swagger and Drunken Lullabies first if only because they provide a more refined intro to the band.

FYI, the song list for CD2 is wrong. Tobacco Island is the first song (with Rebels of the Sacred Heart being #2, and so on)

- One of my most played CDs I own

One of my most played CDs in my extensive collection.... even now I use iTunes and Pandora more than ever, this CD still hits my cd/player regularly. I brings back memories of a few good concerts of these guys, even though I wasn't present at the Greek. All their best songs are on these CDs and in good quality.

- A band at their best

Flogging Molly has always been a band that, although their albums are great, to truly get the experiance you had to see them live. This album/dvd is a great chance to do so, since it's one whole concert, not like alot of bands do for a live cd/dvd and take one song from this show one song from that show. Truly worth the coin!

- They say you have to see them live.

While just about anyone who has anything to say about Flogging Molly says "You have to see them Live"...not everyone can. This is the next best thing. Irish Folk/Alternative/Punk...what to make of that? Until you here this and go, "Wow."
