- As far as Dance mixes go...

Frankie in the mix, well not an interely new thing is it? These are trance mixes done by Rob Searle and lots of college's, like Paralyzer. The Frankie songs turn out to be very mixeable and are transformed to the dancefloors of today. That proves that FGTH songs do have a lot of spirit in them ! Credits goes to the DJ's who have done a good job. Caution if you want mixes like Trevor Horn did in the 80's this is not for you. If you are open minded towards EuroHouse than this double cd is the thing to get. Conclusion: A nice blend between Frankie and EuroHouse

- Terrible, Awful, and Ghastly

I honestly don't know how people can listen to these club mixes. The original tunes by Frankie Goes To Hollywood are great songs, classics, they reach some amazing heights on their first album and EP's. I collected everything possible by them, and think they were an amazing band (where you have to count Trevor Horn as part of the band). But these are what I call "latter day remixes", which is essentially putting jungle beats and techno beats to the songs, and it is really just ghastly. It isn't really Frankie at all, but it uses their songs. When you already have a great dance song like Relax, adding the incredibly fake sounding techno drum beats to it, speeding it up, it isn't even danceable anymore, it completely loses its appeal. I suppose if you are into the techno groove, this might be for you, but if you are a regular classic Frankie fan, then the Club Mixes are not just no good, they are a travesty.

- Amazing sounds put wonderfully together for a great generation

If the sounds in this songs were to be listen individialy you would wonder "what were they thinking" but this guys put any sound in here and made it sound glorious with the rest of the music and the tempo. Awesome work to the point of Unbelivable sound combinations.

- Great

I bought this 2CD set in a record store and was reluctant -- new mixes can sometimes do injustice to the original mixes. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide array of mix types (from quiet to loud, from instrumental to vocal). I especially like th Paralyzer mixes. Long story short: I haven't stopped playing in my car for two weeks straight! If you like(d) Frankie, I highly recommned this new collection. I also recommend buying the 2CD set called "Twelve Inches" (or "Welcome to the Twelve Inches" or "12 Inch Archive"); that collection has the original remixes and a few rare oddities.
