I've been playing music since '67 there has been a lot of reunion CD's but not very many actually live up to their billing. If you've been disappointed before let me tell you this.
As a musician I've always loved GFR. I bought this CD sight unseen for twice the price and I can tell you it was a deal. These guy after all these years continue to amaze me. I have played this CD for so many people and everyone without exception tell me they have to have it in their collection.
You can't go wrong if you love good R & R you need to buy this one. You will not be disappointed. This one really is a Collectors Item.

- Like fine wine, they get better with age
Something remarkable has happened during the past 30+ years. As musicians, these guys have gotten A LOT better. As a result, their music sounds even better than it used to. This is one of the best live recordings I have ever heard. If you rememeber the "good stuff" (On Time & Red Album) you are going to LOVE the first CD. Mark, Don, Mel and friends crank out incredible renditions of Time Machine, Heartbreaker, Aimless Lady and Inside Looking Out. The sleeper is a brilliant medley that has Paranoid, Sin's A Good Man's Brother and Mr. Limo Driver. Side 2 was done with a live orchestra led by Paul Shaffer (from the Letterman Show). The best way to listen to this music is loud and with extra bass!

- My Grand Review
This cd was a total surprise to me. To find it in a music store and never having known it existed. I had owned G.F.R's previous live albums on vinal and on cassett. The energy that G.F.R had put out in concert when I saw the on the "Shinin' on" tour was totally amazing. That was what I got when I heard the first two live albums and I expected the same when I bought "Bosnia!" Well, I can honestly say that I was far from dissapointed. Also pleasantly surprised with "Peter Framton" and "Alto Reed" appearing as well as....(I forgot his name...leader of the band on David Letterman's late night show) was conductor of the orchestra behind G.F.R. I highly recomend this cd to ANYONE, especially those who appreciate Grand Funk RailRoad.

- Grand & Funky
I had the opportunity recently to see Mark Farner in concert. He has still got it! On this 2-CD live set, the whole band still has it! From the early years to the more commercial years, the band is tight and simply having a good time. This is, by far, one of the greatest live albums available. Outstanding. Mark Farner is still the showman and can still play a mean guitar - and, what a voice! The orchestrations are just an extra added plus. Simply put, this album is grand - and Grand Funk at their best.
