Hellogoodbye Album: “EP/Omg Hgb DVD Rotfl [EP] [Remaster]”
Description :
Released in 2008, this two-disc set presents HelloGoodbye's self-titled '04 EP in considerably expanded form, along with the confusingly titled OMG HGB DVD ROTFL, a DVD of various performances and videos by the Southern California-based emo/power-pop quartet. Fronted by sensitive singer/guitarist Forrest Kline, the group excels at catchy, revved-up tunes that are often gilded with sparkling keyboard-driven arrangements, as on the punchy "Call N' Return (Say That You're Into Me)." Among the many bonus tracks on the reissue are the goofy "Asking Jessica to Be Official" and a charmingly spare demo of "Bonnie Taylor Shakedown 2K1," both of which highlight the band's whimsical tendencies.

- Always impressed.

Hellogoodbye has always been a band out there that just can't dissapoint.

Now not only can you get the Avacado ep if you never picked it up.

(I dunno why you wouldn't have because it's amazing) You get some sweet bonus tracks, and the Hellogoodbye DVD all in one snappy package.

How cool is that? I think it's Extremely cool.

If you've never heard this band check them out. And they use keyboards so that makes it a million times more awesome.

- HellogoodBUY?

Hellogoodbye just did 2 reissues. The first was a reissue of their self-titled EP and their DVD "OMG HGB DVD ROTFL," while the other was of their full-length "Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs!" Often times, bands get a lot of flak for doing reissues and a lot of fans will say how the bands are just being lazy and stalling before they have to write new material.

But there is nothing about these reissues that shows Hellogoodbye as being lazy or stalling.

The reissue of their self-titled EP, there are 21 songs, all with the same catchy, upbeat, pop-synth feeling that made them famous. The DVD is soooo funny and really shows what great and fun loving guys they are.

Hellogoodbye has always been a guilty pleasure for my friends and I. Anytime we are getting ready to go out, we always put on their CD and sing and dance around while getting ready. It just puts you in a good, energetic mood when you listen to it. And I have a feeling we will be listening to this new CD the next time we go out!

This is definitely something any fan, or someone who is just starting to get into, should buy!
