Canton’s own Hey Monea, who just won the Hard Rock Cafe’s international battle of the bands titled Hard Rock Rising, will play a free hometown show at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Panini’s, 5260 Dressler Road NW. Ages 21 and older are welcome. In July, the band will perform at a massive outdoor rock festival in London’s Hyde Park, as the opening act for Lady Antebellum, John Fogerty and Bruce Springsteen.
