Disco de HIM: “Solitary Man”

I love this single. Solitary Man itself is a great song, which admittedly had to grow on me, but sometimes the songs that have to grow on you are better in the end than the ones you immidiately liked. I listen to the song at least once a day now. As for the other two songs, they are very good versions of the songs, which are from the same set and go right into one another. Honestly, if it came with only that I would have been satisfied, but if $12.99 is too much for a 3 song single for you, the extras make up for it. With these songs, you also get exclusive access to a site designed for owners of this cd, with the video, which is watchable, and downloadable in a plain quicktime file, or a skinned quicktime file which puts the movie in a little box next to the picture of Ville from the cover, which I thought was awesome. The site also gives you access to Wallpapers of the group in multiple sizes, a screensaver for the single, and the commercial for the single. Maybe that's just not enough for you, but if it is, buy this single now, you'll love it.

This single was really great. It was fast, atleast for HIM. It had a nice blend of a psychedelic type intro, good sound of the drums, and a really nice guitar solo. It's also a very catchy song, really touches an emotional note with me. The words: "Don't know that I will, but until I can find me- a girl who will stay and won't play games behind me. I'll be what I am-[a] Solitary Man." If you get a chance to hear the whole single, go for it. The song is nicely mixed, with a good video to go with it.

Good single, nice song (cover), could have been a bit cheaper, but I bought it knowing what it was so..

Im a huge fan of HIM and this CD rocks. The live music is great and so is Solitary Man! It's better than the original!
