Who'd expect Hot Hot Heat to kick an album off with a ballad? The variety makes for an interesting, if not always even, listen, and the band sounds better than ever (thanks in part to production help from some industry heavyweights). Fans of the band's first two albums will find strong elements from both on HAPPINESS LTD.
