Katie and Tom Ready to Infect NYCTom Cruise and Katie Holmes are set to move to New York. The Hollywood couple - who recently held a star-studded housewarming party to celebrate moving into their new $35 million Beverly Hills mansion - will buy an apartment in Manhattan while Katie prepares to make her Broadway theatre debut in 'All My Sons'. The show's producer Eric Falkenstein said: "Katie and Tom are committed to keeping the family together, so they have to get an apartment here in New York." Eric believes Katie - who has a two-year-old daughter Suri with Tom - is perfect choice to play Ann in the stage adaptation of Arthur Miller's play. He said: "Katie is not a celebrity type. She has done brilliant work in films like 'Pieces of April' and 'The Ice Storm'. "Ann starts out as a simple, sweet, average Midwesterner, and by the finale gets up the gumption to stand and confront what's wrong. "Katie is perfect, she is a natural sweetheart who can sniff out phonies ... Katie basically has that exact moral fiber [of her character in the play]." Eric also revealed how down-to-earth the former 'Dawson's Creek' actress was when she first arrived for rehearsals. He added to the New York Post newspaper: "When she signed on, she came here to a bare rehearsal room for a read- through. She didn't ask for anything. She was just sweet and deferential." Katie makes her Broadway debut in October for a 16-week run.

Katie Holmes Poised To Make Her Broadway Escape In 'All My Sons' Revival [If You Can Make It There, You're Almost Home Free]Cindy Adams, the sole-surviving specimen of an age when Gossipsaurs ruled the Earth, has scored an interview with theater impresario Eric Falkenstein. He's the man behind the all-star revival of All My Sons soon to hit Broadway, which stars John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, Patrick Wilson, and, most notably, Tom Cruise's billion-year war bride Katie Holmes. Falkenstein explains how their decision to go with Katie had everything to do with talent, not ticket-sales: "As for Katie, director Simon McBurney, my casting director and I came up with a list of names. Katie's not really a celebrity type. She's done brilliant work in films like 'Pieces of April' and 'The Ice Storm.' And is perfect for the role. 'Ann' starts as a simple, sweet, average Midwesterner, and by the finale gets up the gumption to stand and confront what's wrong. A natural sweetheart who can sniff out phonies, Katie basically has that exact moral fiber. "She's represented by a team at CAA who knew me from past productions, so it just took time - about four months - to work out. There were also family issues. She and Tom are committed to keeping the family together, so they have to get an apartment here. The negotiation would have likely gone far more quickly had her people not been so unwilling to budge on one controversial deal-point: a stipulation that Arthur Miller's script be amended to include two fresh-faced, tazer-equipped chaperones in navy blazers accompanying her character at all times. Luckily, the Sons producers finally acquiesced: Phony-sniffing Ann now makes a brief allusion to them being "her cousins from Tulsa" early in the first act, after which no mention is made again. Waterworld In the future, the polar ice caps have melted and the Earth lies covered in water. The inhabitants of this once-flourishing planet have adapted to life in a new world and dream of a mythical place called Dryland. Civilization as we know it no longer exists. The great flood has left humanity adrift on strangely configured man-made islands called "atolls," which are constantly threatened by Smokers-bands of marauding pirates who roam the featureless surface of Waterworld. For the Atollers, outnumbered and outgunned, one hope remains: a hero known only as the Mariner (Academy Award Winner Kevin Costner). Battling the Smokers and their ruthless leader, the Deacon (Academy Award nominee Dennis Hopper), the Mariner sets out with a beautiful woman and a mysterious little girl on a search for a new beginning.

Godzilla: Final Wars Godzilla's 50th Anniversary project and costliest adventure to date out of 28 films. Earth has been relatively peaceful since Godzilla was successfully buried deep in ice beneath the South Pole. Then, a few years later, several of his old nemeses return to wreak havoc on cities worldwide. A huge spaceship suddenly appears and neutralizes all the monsters in a blink. The visitors are "Xiliens," who take human form and announce they would like to negotiate a peace treaty that would replace the United Nations with a "United Universe." They are indeed too good to be true, however. It doesn't take long before their nefarious real purpose is exposed: conquering Earth. Greatly outmatched, Earth officials decide to unfreeze Godzilla as man's only hope to vanish the invaders, as well as the monsters they control. The only problem is that Godzilla is still mad at mankind for freezing him in the first place.

Alien Hunter For the NASA-funded research team stationed at the most desolate reaches of Antarctica, it's another routine day - until the communications satellite picks up a mysterious signal coming from a strange object lodged several meters beneath the ice. Suspecting it may not be from Earth, the lead scientist immediately places a call to Julian Rome (James Spader), an old friend formerly employed as a cryptologist for the U.S. government's SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) program. Catching the next flight to the South Pole, this former "alien hunter" is soon led to the unidentified object which is still encased in a large block of ice. After constructing a makeshift decoder, Rome quickly cracks the complex mathematical code, only to discover the message is an alien warning. Now it's a terrifying race against time to prevent the total annihilation of the planet in this pulse-pounding sci-fi thriller.View Trailer
