Blondie’s Debbie Harry Shows Her True Colors on Summer Tour When the True Colors tour kicks off this Friday in Las Vegas, Debbie Harry will be performing solo for the first time since Blondie reunited a decade ago. “It’s sort of experimental for me,” she says. “I’m going to be doing it in a very stripped-down way. No big band.” Her reasons for working solo instead of under the Blondie name are simple: “Blondie doesn’t have a record deal,” she says. “I can do a solo project much more economically.” The sixteen-date tour, which also includes Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, The Dresden Dolls and The Gossip, will raise money for the Human Rights Campaign and the Matthews Shepherd Foundation. Rosie O’Donnell, Rufus Wainwright and The Indigo Girls are guesting on select dates. “The thing that startles and stuns me is that there are so many extreme Christian groups that are anti-gay,” Harry says. “I can’t understand how anyone who believes themselves to be a deeply religious person can have a prejudice like that. It’s just so destructive. This tour is going to unify people and give them a chance to celebrate their personal freedoms.” For more information check out our summer tour special and the True Colors website.

HOTTEST TICKETSTICKETS are expensive, crowds are a hassle, the restrooms are a biohazard and the grub at the concessions would probably be healthier if it was actually made with grubs. None of that matters when the lights dim and that special song sends primal chills down your spine. You don't get that thrill sitting watching music on TV or listening on your iPod. You gotta be there. This summer, there is right here in Skyscraper Park, with more than 100 major acts ready to rock. These are the 10 best shows of the season, along with a "sideshow" alternate for each, in case you just can't snag a ticket.1. Best Girl-Power Show: True Colors TourJune 1 at Jones Beach, June 3 at Radio City Music HallWith the famed Lilith festival defunct, True Colors offers a dose of estrogen rock. Like last year's debut, tour festival founder Cyndi Lauper headlines a stellar chicks-with-picks lineup featuring Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Indigo Girls, Joan Armatrading, Regina Spektor, Tegan and Sara, Wanda Sykes, Nona Hendryx, Deborah Cox, the Cliks, the Puppini Sisters and the B-52's. Oh yeah, Rosie O'Donnell will also appear - I guess that's when you go for beers.Sideshow: If you loved Sheryl Crow's live DVD, filmed at her Central Park shows a few years ago, she's doing it again with a Summerstage concert May 29.2. Best Hip-hop Show: Hot 97 Summer JamJune 1 at Giants StadiumWithout question the biggest, baddest hip-hop concert on the planet takes place in our backyard at the Meadowlands with more than 50,000 fans expected at the stadium. It's a who's-who in urban music with Kanye West, Rihanna, T-Pain, Ray J & Yung Berg, the Dream, D-Block (featuring Styles P & Sheek Louch), Public Enemy and Lil Wayne backed by rockers Gym Class Heroes. No Jay-Z and Mrs. Z? They haven't been announced, but I'd bet my vinyl copy of "Reasonable Doubt" that Jay and his bride will do the Jam.Sideshow: It's hard to resist Alicia Keys at MSG on June 18. She's a knockout, her new album is fantastic, and she's always terrif
