This Limited version features vinyl replica packaging.

This is an Enhanced CD which contains regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files. The Enhanced portion includes a music video for "Fear Of The Dark."

Iron Maiden: Steve Harris (vocals, bass);Bruce Dickinson (vocals); Dave Murray, Janick Gers (guitar); Nicko McBrain (drums).

Recorded live between 1992 & 1993.

This is an Enhanced CD, which contains both regular audio tracks and multimedia computer files.

To coincide with Bruce Dickinson's final tour with Iron Maiden, the band issued A REAL DEAD ONE, a follow-up to its classic 1985 live album, LIVE AFTER DEATH. Comprised entirely of material from 1986's SOMEWHERE IN TIME and releases thereafter, the live set contains renditions of many of Maiden's U.K. hit singles from the era. While some tracks are noticeably absent ("Infinite Dreams," "Wasted Years," etc.), many of Maiden's best tracks are included, such as "Be Quick or Be Dead," "Can I Play With Madness," "The Evil That Men Do," "Heaven Can Wait," and "The Clairvoyant." Although the band doesn't sound as inspired as it does on its earlier, classic live collection, several tracks here are played with a passion not found in the studio versions.

- pretty decent
i thought this cd was pretty darn good, the sound quality was decent,a little raw at times but that added to the live sound, i really enjoy the songs that were selected for this cd they are pre 1985, a nice companion for the live cd "a real live one" which is also really good
- An Energetic Live Album with Rockin' Metal Grooves!
There once was a time when I would have rated this album as 5 stars, but I have fallen out of that stage of my life. I have to admit though, when I was in high school, and these albums came out, most folk at my high school probably couldn't have been paid to listen to these cds. That was in the 90s, and when pop music had fallen to new lows in quality. When I was a teen, Iron Maiden was a band that I could turn to that was a few notches better than what I was hearing on the local rock radio stations, which didn't want to have anything to do with heavy metal. Also, this is a good one to listen to in order to find the roots of metal, which did not use compression in their recording. Many of these songs are head banging classics, and in my opinion, they sound better on this album than they did on the albums themselves.
The best tracks on this one are Hollowed By Thy Name, and Number of the Beast
- MAIDEN LIVE
good live maiden cd. remember this was made to sound like a bootleg. remaster does sound better though

- Good live CD
Check it out! He actually hits the notes in Run to the Hills!
It's rough in spots (Bruce forgets some words in Where Eagles Dare) but it's not a bad CD. It's good that they separated this one from the Real Live One, because his voice isn't as good in that CD. Real Iron Maiden fans will enjoy.
